Guest Relations and Cafe Manager

Cindy is the quintessential Rays-kateer -- bubbly, energetic, friendly, committed to quality and guest satisfaction! She began working at Ray's in 1979 and is the last crew member to have worked side-by-side with our owners. She helped to build the foundation of Ray's culture and pioneer the trademark service and hospitality that sets Ray's apart. Over the years, she has worked nearly every position in the restaurant, from server to manager to marketing and guest relations. Everyone knows Cindy and Cindy knows everyone!

Cindy was born and raised in Seattle. She attended Fairhaven College and the University of Washington. She has raised three children and spends her free time traveling the world. Her husband Jim is a fisherman in Alaska. She is extremely active in the community and gives tirelessly of her time. In addition to the numerous auctions and events she participates in for children's, cancer, environmental and hunger causes, she is an active member of the Ballard Lions Club and the Ballard Chamber of Commerce.
