Salmon Safe Wine Dinner at Ray’s Boathouse Jan. 19

Raise a glass to support wild salmon restoration at Ray’s Boathouse this January!

On Saturday, January 19 at 6:30pm Ray’s Boathouse will host a five-course Salmon Safe Wine Dinner with pairings from some of the top wineries in the Pacific Northwest including aMaurice Cellars, Bethel Heights Vineyard and Brick House Wines.  These wineries’ estate vineyard sites have all been certified Salmon Safe and we’ll be featuring their estate bottlings with dinner.

Our Salmon Safe Wine Dinner will include a beautiful five-course menu designed by Executive Chef Paul Duncan and will feature wineries who have committed to producing Salmon Safe wines.

Our Director of Wine and Certified Sommelier Chip Croteau will take you through the courses and wine pairings and share what it means for a winery to make a commitment to wild salmon preservation.

In addition to hearing from the wineries on what this commitment means, guests will hear from David Burger, Executive Director of Stewardship Partners an alliance partner of Salmon Safe, and Jacques White, Executive Director of Long Live the Kings, to educate us further about the positive impact these organizations make in regards to the livelihood of local wild salmon, and how you can a part of it by enjoying wine that is environmentally responsible.
