Hayden Malan

A Pacific Northwest native, Hayden Malan has worked diligently to build a successful career in the hospitality industry. His first foray was at the age of 17 in his hometown of Bellingham, Washington at a golf and country club, where he fell in love with bringing people together through food and entertainment.

After graduating from Western Washington University, Hayden began managing events for groups of all sizes both on land and at sea. On land, he led kitchen and service teams that catered events for companies like Twitter, The Allen Institute and Tableau Software. At sea, Hayden lived out his passion for exploring the world by running activities for kids and adults aboard the Holland America Cruise Line.

Hayden joined the Ray’s team in April of 2018 as an Event Manager, and quickly proved himself within the company. He was soon promoted to Catering Operations Coordinator where he now connects people through food and events at Seattle’s best waterfront venue.

Outside of work, Hayden enjoys traveling, playing rugby and spending time outdoors in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
