RAY'S 25TH ANNUAL RETROSPECTIVE OF NORTHWEST WINES WINNERS ANNOUNCED!
Every January, Ray’s Boathouse conducts a comprehensive Northwest wine competition open to all winemakers from Washington, Oregon and Idaho. This exciting competition uncovers hidden gems from tiny up-and-coming wineries, as well as reaffirms the well-deserved praise earned by established producers. We enlist the expertise of local sommeliers and wine writers to blind-taste the entries in twelve categories. All Washington, Oregon and Idaho wineries are eligible to participate and 351 entries were received. For the first time ever, two wineries captured the gold in two categories! See the results of the competition below.
The Gold Winners will be featured on our wine list through May 2012, based on availability. A dinner celebrating the winning wines will be held in the spring, date to be announced.
