Originally from Wisconsin and now calling Seattle home for the past 10 years, Ali brings more than 16 years of hospitality experience to Ray’s. Having worked her way through nearly every front-of-house role, from serving and bartending to management, she loves the fast pace and ever-changing nature of the restaurant industry.
For Ali, hospitality is about more than food and drinks. It is about creating memorable experiences, building genuine connections, and helping make time spent with friends and family feel special. She especially enjoys the constant opportunity to learn, whether it is about food, wine, cocktails, or the people she meets along the way.
Outside of the restaurant, Ali is also a glass artist, small business owner, and instructor at Pratt Fine Arts Center. The hot shop community has become a meaningful creative outlet and source of connection in her life. When she is not at Ray’s or teaching in the studio, you can usually find her hiking, camping, or swimming somewhere in the Pacific Northwest.
