Nikki Valentine brings more than 23 years of hospitality experience to Seattle’s restaurant industry, with a career built on exceptional service, strong leadership, and genuine connections. Born in Seattle, Nikki spent her elementary school years in Fairbanks, Alaska, before returning to the Pacific Northwest at age twelve, where she has lived ever since.
Her hospitality career began at a young age while working at a 1950s-style diner managed by her aunt. What started as a summer job-shadowing opportunity quickly turned into waiting tables, earning tips and the start of a long-term career.
Over the years, Nikki has worked in some of Seattle’s most well-known restaurants and bars, building a reputation for creating welcoming guest experiences and supporting teams with professionalism and positivity. With experience as a server, bartender, lead, and shift lead, she is known for her calm presence during busy service, strong communication skills, and ability to help both guests and coworkers feel cared for.
Nikki’s favorite part of hospitality is the people. She enjoys meeting guests from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and helping create memorable experiences. She also enjoys mentoring team members and fostering a supportive work environment.
Outside of work, Nikki enjoys spending time with her husband and their three spoiled cats, reading, relaxing at home, and working on their first garden.
At Ray’s, Nikki brings warmth, experience, and a passion for hospitality, helping create memorable dining experiences for guests and a positive environment for her team.
